Copyright is one of the more complicated laws to wrap your head around, especially when it comes to understanding how copyright interacts with technology. For example, did you know that when you share a video on your favorite social media site that you may actually be committing copyright infringement? Most people don’t understand the inner complexities of copyright law and are only aware that there is a problem when they receive a cease and desist notice or a notice that their own copyright is being used illegally.
